Face-to-Face interaction is the best way to learn quickly - It is convenient to download a singing course or learn to play from an online instructor. We believe digital learning is important, and we will provide access to learning resources and introductory courses online. However, online learning cannot be a substitute for the community and connection of person-to-person interaction. We Love Our Community - Salado is a village known for its artistic community. We use two different recital formats to help acclimate a new student while accommodating more mature performers throughout our season. Virtual Recitals are designed to be less intimidating yet showcase a students progress. Parents record the student performing a piece in the comfort of their own home. We compile and produce the performances into one video and share on social media and our website. These recitals are scheduled after the first and third session. Regular Recitals are live performances. We also livestream recitals for the benefit of family that is not local. This gives the student experience in a live setting. These recitals are scheduled after the second and fourth sessions. AAIM gives students a head start in music in a FUN way! Students learn rhythm, note values, the notes of the staff and are introduced to various instruments all through games, activities, and fun weekly assignments and gives young aspiring musicians a jump start in preparation for learning a musical instrument or vocal training. Lessons in an individual, one-to-one or two student format give students the ability to move at their own pace and explore their interests. The private lessons ensure that no student is going to be rushed to grasp a concept and they can take their time exploring the world of music.
